Francesca M. Papia is an associate with BHPK Law, practicing primarily in the areas of employment, civil rights, and insurance defense litigation. Francesca specializes in wage and hour law, and has experience representing clients in sexual harassment and discrimination claims.
Francesca appears frequently in the Superior Courts of Massachusetts, as well as in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also represents clients before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Prior to joining BHPK, Francesca worked as an associate at a small Boston law firm, where she represented employees, in both individual and class action lawsuits, for wage and hour violations under the Massachusetts Wage Act, Overtime Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and Prevailing Wage Law. She also represented individuals who had suffered unlawful vehicle repossessions.
Francesca is a Northeastern University School of Law graduate. While in law school, she clerked for a federal magistrate judge in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and was a member of the Public Health Advocacy Clinic. She graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University.
In her spare time, Francesca enjoys hiking and playing board games.
